Janet's TAKE: #GeminiMan has an interesting technical concept with a predictable plot. Grade/C

While Will Smith's acting and Ang Lee's direction were
commendable, this was clearly an experiment in digital cinema. In the action sequences, all I could see was the Fresh Prince.  They used a great de-aging process for Will Smith but overall the end result fell short of expectations.

Janet's TAKE: #2heartsthefilm depicts a based-on-a-true story in an unimaginative and formulaic way. While the effort is commendable in its message of sacrifice and service, it is entirely predictable. The main character (narrator) tries too hard to be charming and this feels forced. There wasn't any chemistry between either of the two romances. If you are looking for a slightly above-average Lifetime style film, this should fit the bill. Janet's TAKE: Even though #Nomadland is a sad commentary on the effects of the recession in the last decade, it still brings an uplifting message of camaraderie, support and friendship for the nomadic lifestyle that exists in America today. Grade/A- Frances McDormand and David Strathairn expertly portray their characters alongside Chloé Zhao's portraiture-style direction that includes professional actors working with real people playing themselves and telling their stories. THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY movie review

Janet's TAKE: #BrokenHeartsGallery is a sweet and mostly engaging twenty-something romantic comedy.  You know exactly where it's going, but getting there with talented star Geraldine Viswanathan is the best part of this journey.  An optimistic date movie that is just what's needed today. The supporting cast is perfect for this genre and it's nice to see Bernadette Peters back on the screen.
