TULLY
Janet's TAKE: #TULLY gives a perceptive but uneven look at the demands of motherhood and today's parenting. Grade/B-
While billed as a comedy by the studio, TULLY is
more of a drama with comedic moments. A superb performance by Charlize Theron (who gained 50 lbs. for the role) carries the bulk of the film. The twist ending unfolds in an awkward manner.
