Janet's TAKE: #GringoMovie is mindless entertainment in the form of a South-of-the-Border crime escapade. Grade/B-
David Oyelowo shows he has somecomedic talent and the plot has enough twists to hold your interest even though the rest of the cast seems somewhat toned-down in what could have been an outrageous comedy.
Synopsis:
An exhilarating mix of dark comedy, white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, Gringo joyrides into Mexico, where mild-mannered businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) finds himself at the mercy of back-stabbing business colleagues back home, local drug lords and a morally conflicted black-ops mercenary.
