PATTI CAKE$

Patti Cake$ movie still

Janet's TAKE: #PattiCakes is a fresh take on the mother-daughter genre. C+

Nice performances by Danielle MacDonald as an aspiring rapper and Bridget Everett as her mother. Playing the grandmother, Cathy Moriarty steals more than a few scenes.
